Why do you want to be prosperous?
Mar 08, 2024Regarding Biblical prosperity: Do we seek prosperity to help finance the work of God, or to enjoy the luxuries of life?
- big houses
- showy cars
- expensive clothes
- fancy food
- lavish entertainment
I've learned we have to keep our motives and priorities straight, that there must be a balance and common sense in our material lives.
In my opinion, the purpose of Biblical prosperity for a Christian is to do God's work and God's will.
God commissioned all believers to carry out the same mission.
He said: “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation."
God's people must prosper to carry out the great commission.
For me, the life of a faith-driven entrepreneur has given me the freedom and prosperity to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ, at scale.
The most prosperous times in my life have been where my wife and I capped our lifestyle and focused on our role in the great commission.
The great commission is why I founded CanaGlobal. I knew being an entrepreneur was a path full of obstacles, challenges and a 90% failure rate.
The pain of all this creates a hunger for God's help. 70% of the global workforce have dreams of becoming an entrepreneur. They want the freedom to do something that matters and to prosper doing it.
Entrepreneurship is the new American dream. Hence my focus in this arena.
So ask yourself, why do you want to prosper?
If you are a faith-driven entrepreneur, why do you want to prosper?
This weekend, let's check our motives and priorities, let's get into agreement and alignment with God's Word (His will).
