When Jesus Accelerates You

John 6:21 AMP

Then they were willing to take Him on board the boat, and immediately the boat reached the [shore of the] land to which they were going.

A True Story.

Do you remember the story in the Bible when Jesus fed the five thousand? When He multiplied the lunch of a small boy, five small barley loaves and two fish, into enough to feed 5000 men, plus their families with twelve baskets of leftovers after everyone had their fill. This story of immediate-abundant-supernatural-multiplication is recorded for us in John chapter 6.

The story continues with the disciples getting into a boat and setting off across the lake, without Jesus, headed for Capernaum when they ran into a horrible storm. Around this time they see Jesus walking on water towards the boat. You can imagine the relief when Jesus joined them in the boat.

Miracle 1 - Jesus Feeds 5000

Miracle 2 - Jesus Walk On Water

Miracle 3 - As soon as Jesus got in the boat, they were ACCELERATED instantaneously to land.

"Then they were willing to take Him on board the boat, and immediately the boat reached the [shore of the] land to which they were going."

Folks, there will be times in life when we experience great storms. When life seems out of control and we're not sure what to do. When you feel like you're at the end of your rope and barely hanging on. When you are waiting and waiting and waiting for a breakthrough.

Many times when I've faced adversity and endured long seasons of waiting, Jesus has showed up to accelerate me instantaneously to my destiny. Many many times!

The book of John finishes in chapter 21 with Jesus and the miraculous catch of fish. The disciples, professional fishermen, had been fishing all night and caught nothing.

Some of you are in this same predicament. You've been without an income for a long time. Many are seeking employment, and others have a small business, but you're not getting paid.

Back to the story ... Jesus gave them a word of instruction to cast their nets on the other side. They obeyed Jesus and caught 153 huge fish, enough to completely fill their nets. They experienced immediate-abundant-supernatural-multiplication from God. They experienced His acceleration!

What Jesus did for His disciples back then, He'll do for us today. We are His modern-day disciples and Jesus is still in the miracle business. Will you agree with me in prayer as I pray for Jesus to work instantaneous acceleration in your lives?

Pray This Prayer of Agreement:

"Father, so many of your children of this age, your marketplace disciples, are experiencing lack in their lives. I ask you Father, in the mighty Name of Jesus Christ to work miracles in the lives of your people. Despite our waiting, Lord I ask you for instantaneous acceleration to get us right into our destiny, despite the storms of life. Father, I rebuke the storms in Jesus Name. I bind all lack and loose abundance. Father let those who believe, conceive and receive according to Matthew 16:19.

I will give you the keys (authority) of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind [forbid, declare to be improper and unlawful] on earth [will have [already] been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose [permit, declare lawful] on earth will have [already] been loosed in heaven.

We ask and agree on this in Jesus' name. Amen."
