When everything I am "trying" to do isn't working.

Every-time I have become stuck over my 40 year entrepreneurial journey, when everything I am "trying" to do isn't working, best I can remember THE ANSWER has been in front of me the whole time.

Each time I can remember, God multiplied what I had. But for some reason I just didn't have the eyes to see it even when it was right in front of me.

Most of the time it was a fresh idea, a new pivot that changed everything. It was something I could have done earlier.

So what led to these new revelations?

Meditating of God's promises. I've come to see a big difference in studying the Word of God and meditating it.

- Studying: When I am studying the Word of God I go deep into each book, chapter and verse, examining my concordance and commentaries, learning from what others have learned. This is good.

- Meditating: When I meditate a Biblical promise, I read it over and over usually through a few translations, and then I begin listening to the Holy Spirit for revelation, that deep insight (lightbulb) moment when I begin to understand the full truth of the passage. I do this over and over for days and weeks. 

I read it, speak it, receive it and live it.

I call this revelation knowledge. It never changes what the scripture says, I just see what before I was blind to. Truth. I always find the answer (the truth) to any problem meditating on the Word.

It's what God instructed Joshua to do when He was about to conquer Jericho in battle.

>> "This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall read [and meditate on] it day and night, so that you may be careful to do [everything] in accordance with all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will be successful." (Joshua 1:8 AMP)

It's these ideas that come from meditating on the Word of God that have led to my role in industry disruptions and innovations and reaping the HUGE rewards.

I try to remember that God has ten million ways to multiply what I already have.
