The Know-How To Do

1 John 2:27 AMP - As for you, the anointing [the special gift, the preparation] which you received from Him remains [permanently] in you, and you have no need for anyone to teach you. But just as His anointing teaches you [giving you insight through the presence of the Holy Spirit] about all things, and is true and is not a lie, and just as His anointing has taught you, you must remain in Him [being rooted in Him, knit to Him].

In this life you will encounter many dreams and goals that you'll find yourself unable to achieve. Mountains that you can't seem to scale. Valleys that you can't seem you cross.

You might be trying to start or grow a business, but the things you are doing, simply aren't working. Perhaps you can't seem to land that dream job with the dream income. Or maybe God has planted an assignment in your heart, but no luck, you can't seem to pull it off.

Whatever it is you are trying to accomplish, the reason it isn't working for you is YOU DON'T HOW!

Don't get mad at me, if you knew really how, you'd have different results. Disagree? I mean, if you could have, you would have, right?

Hang on, the solution is coming, but I wanted to drive home the point that the reason for your lack of results is a lack of know-how.

This happens to me all the time. When my very best thinking produces bad results.

Remember, I'm a serial entrepreneur so I live in the world of exposing problems and then providing solutions. Why am I hammering this home? Because too many really nice people waste years of their life doing the same thing over and over again, expecting different results.

So what is the problem? A lack of knowledge. This is a biblical truth.

Hosea 4:6 NIV - My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge.

OK, here's the solution, which has been inside you the whole time. GRRR...

Here it is:

- you are anointed

- it's a special gift

- a preparation from God

- it's permanent

- the Holy Spirit will teach you everything you need to know

I have come up with some of the most brilliant ideas on the planet — that don't work. Just ask my wife! Remember, the Scriptures say God has chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise. The first time I read that I thought "Lord, I'm your man, sign me up!" And He did. So when something doesn't work, these days I just laugh, go straight to God, and admit "OK Lord, I don't know how, will you teach me how."

I'm OK not knowing everything. As long as we are willing to learn how, we can get the know-how. This is my anointing, the spirit of wisdom (The Holy Spirit) lives inside me — and you.

Look at these two biblical promises:

1 John 3:21-22 - Beloved, if our heart does not convict us [of guilt], we have confidence [complete assurance and boldness] before God; and we receive from Him whatever we ask because we [carefully and consistently] keep His commandments and do the things that are pleasing in His sight [habitually seeking to follow His plan for us].

James 1:5 AMP - If any of you lacks wisdom [to guide him through a decision or circumstance], he is to ask of [our benevolent] God, who gives to everyone generously and without rebuke or blame, and it will be given to him.

- we can have confidence before God

- complete assurance and boldness

- we receive from Him WHATEVER we ask of Him

So WHATEVER you can't seem to do on your own, just humbly ADMIT that you don't know-how, be willing to learn how, and the Holy Spirit promises to teach you the Know-How.

This is my go-to for everything. Let me give you a really practical example. To keep being a successful entrepreneur, there are four strategies and tactics I have to continually keep fresh and up-to-date.

#1 How I set my personal and business vision

#2 How I vet my business models/brands around buyer journey to achieve product-market fit

#3 How to create a proper digital ecosystem (websites, landing pages, along with shared, earned, owned and paid content)

#4 How to develop and execute a robust customer acquisition system

In my 37 years as an entrepreneur, I've had to radically reinvent how I do all four strategies every single year. I understand that the strategies and tactics that got me to success, will never keep me there. I'm continually on the hunt for where and from whom I will learn the fresh secret-sauce.

But do you know where I start? I begin by going to God for the new ideas and mentors He will put in my life. Same thing for the faith side.

Whatever you need to know, the Holy Spirit will teach you all things. Sometimes He'll show it to you when you're studying the Word, other times He'll send you a mentor to teach you how.

As long as you are willing to learn how, God promises to give you the Know-How.

And that my friends is a Blank Check to prosper and succeed at God's plans for your life!
