Stop trying to figure EVERYTHING out.

- your busyness is actually counter productive
- instead, for clarity and peace do this

Every morning as soon as I get up my mind is racing with my mission for the week, my to do list, my calendar, and my activity for the week.

I immediately feel the pressure of planning to get so much done.

So before I jump into action — I STOP.

I prepare for my first meeting of the day ... time with The Boss ... God.

For me, most mornings I'm up around 4a.

- make the coffee
- head to my study
- my meeting with God starts around 4:30a
- I sit down aware of being present in God's presence

With my Bible and my journal in hand, I start with a few devotionals from my favorite sources, and then dig into the Word.

When I focus on being present in His presence, His peace and clarity follow.

He settles me down and prepares me for the week.

And then as I continue to be aware of His constant presence in my life (after all, He lives inside me) we continue to talk back and forth all day long.

He has a strategic path that He Has prepared for me every week.

So I ...

- submit by plans to Him
- I align my plans with His
- I ask Him to establish my steps

And then at 6a I begin to execute what He has prepared for me to do.

But now I have clarity, focus and peace. His peace.

This is daily walking ... a closer walk with thee.
