If you are a follower of Jesus Christ, be a disciple.

After all a disciple, disciples. (no exceptions)

Make time to teach what you’ve learned. God will multiply what you do.

For me, the global marketplace is my pulpit. There are almost a billion people on LinkedIn from more than 200 countries.

- 70 percent have a desire to become entrepreneurs

- 70 percent are seeking a purpose

- There are 582 million entrepreneurs worldwide

- 180 million who are Christ-following

- And less than 6% of Christ-followers have a Biblical worldview (meaning 94% are not disciples)

“But Gerald, LinkedIn is for business, not faith.” Who told you that? God?

Here’s what I’ve learned to do, you can learn to do the same.

Everyday I write one post about either faith, calling, RevOps or investor readiness.

Why? I’m planting and watering seeds. God grows what I plant.

I’ve created multiple digital courses about what I’ve learned and made them available online for free. I had to learn how to do this.

Every week I meet with a group of faith-driven founders from around the world and share what I’ve learned. We call it, Church for Entrepreneurs. ALL FREE. All on zoom. I had to make the time.

I make room on my calendar to meet with a handful of founders 1-on-1 to mentor, equip and share what I’ve learned. ALL FREE.

About 80% of what we do at CanaGlobal is free. We make money through our venture studio where we equip and fund a handful of founders/ventures. Not free.

For me it all started with my commitment as a follower of Jesus Christ to honor the Great Commission laid out by Jesus — to disciple people and nations.

What’s the point of being a follower of Jesus Christ if you’re not a disciple?

Make a commitment to put His work first. Business second. Watch what happens. Read Matt 6:33, it convinced me into action.

Let your action match what you signed up for.

Pro-Tip: Don’t concern yourself with trying to be secular-friendly or seeker-friendly. Speak the truth. Demonstrate God’s power in you.

The time to get along to go along is over, rover. The truth will always divide the sheep from the goats. Jesus says it best in Luke 12:51.

“Do you think I came to bring peace on earth? No, I tell you, but division.”

Get busy, we’re on a battleship not a cruise ship.
