How to Get Faith

Romans 10:17 AMP

So faith comes from hearing [what is told], and what is heard comes by the [preaching of the] message concerning Christ.

Do you have the faith to have, take or possess, what is already yours? I'm referring to your inheritance in the Word of God. The Word of God is God's will for your life. It's His covenant will and His literal will of what He wants done by and for the body of Christ, His children.

The Bible, the Word of God, contains over 6000 plus promises for you. Whether these promises are in the Old or New Testament, they were paid for by the blood of Jesus.

For instance, salvation, the forgiveness of sins is a biblical promise. It's yours. It's for everyone. So how do you get saved? Through faith. Through faith we repent and receive the free gift bought by the blood of Jesus. (John 3:16)

Every biblical promises is received by faith. Through believing. Faith is the spiritual currency for receiving biblical promises. Some biblical promises require faith plus obedience (not perfection).

For every faith victory, there will be a faith battle. There is no victory without a battle. A battle with who? A battle with satan. Satan comes only to kill steal and destroy. (John 10:10) So what does He come to steal? He comes to steal the Word, God's promises for you, from you. How? By doubt, fear and worry he plants into your thought life. The battle takes place in your mind. Winner takes ALL.

Fear tolerated is faith contaminated. Mark 4 lays out the secret the Kingdom of God in the parable of the sower. Verses 15-19 explains how satan steals the Word from you. Verse 20 lays out the biblical promise for those who have faith. A thirty, sixty, one-hundred fold return!

Mark 4:20 NIV - Others, like seed sown on good soil, hear the word, accept it, and produce a crop—some thirty, some sixty, some a hundred times what was sown.”

So, access to all biblical promises require faith. Without faith, you can't please God.

Hebrews 11:6 NIV - And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

Think about it, Jesus pays the price so we'd have access to the 6000 plus biblical promises including salvation. But when we allow doubt, fear and worry into our thought life, we are actually having more faith in thoughts coming from satan, than God's infallible Word.

Your faith will always begin where the Word of God is made known to you. How do we get faith? By hearing the Word of God. How do we have victory in battle? Through faith in the Word. The Word is our sword. We use it to teardown satanic strongholds and works of the devil. (Ephesians 6:10-19)

Here's the problem.

• 75% of pastors/churches do not believe in the inerrancy and infallibility of the Bible. This is Woke Christianity.
• Less than 15% of Christians read the Bible on a daily basis.
• Less than 5% of Christians have made the Bible the center of their lives.

The Church, the body of Christ, has a gigantic faith problem. We might believe in God, but we don't believe God or His promises. If we did, we would be using our promised power and authority to disciple nations, which is the great commission. We wouldn't be living defeated lives, barely surviving, we'd be thriving.

Faith comes only by hearing and believing the Word of God. So if you are experiencing troubling circumstances in your finances, health, relationships, purpose or faith, see what the Word of God promises you.

This is your inheritance, start living the abundant life.
