His Promises Never Fail
Dec 20, 2021Psalm 138:8 TPT - You keep every promise you’ve ever made to me! Since your love for me is constant and endless, I ask you, Lord, to finish every good thing that you’ve begun in me!
As this year comes to a close, your circumstances may scream LIAR LIAR LIAR.
Perhaps this year you prayed and pleaded for God to do certain things in your life. To deliver you from some dry places. But here we are and the end of the year, with many of those things unchanged.
So who's been lying to you, God or satan?
Your circumstances have joined in on the case against God, that Your God can't seem to keep His promises, that your faith has been in vain.
Here's the THANG ... the devil's a liar.
It's impossible for God to lie. On your journey from dream to destiny, your circumstances are only scenery along the way. Scenery to the destiny God has planned for you. Your circumstances are irrelevant to your destiny. Your circumstances are incapable of seeing around the corner.
So what's around the corner? God's miracles.
The promises of God prophesy to what's around the corner. All you have to do is keep walking forward with Jesus. Keep trusting and stay in faith.
Keep your thought life aligned with the Word of God. Keep your tongue and words aligned as well. (James 3:1-11)
2 Corinthians 10:5 AMP - We are destroying sophisticated arguments and every exalted and proud thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought and purpose captive to the obedience of Christ ...
James 4:7 NIV - Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
The next time doubting thoughts and circumstances begin to lie about your God, never reason with them. Instead, speak to them. Do what Jesus did when He was tempted by satan — say it is written and then speak scripture.
This is one of my favorites.
Psalm 138:8 TPT - You keep every promise you’ve ever made to me! Since your love for me is constant and endless, I ask you, Lord, to finish every good thing that you’ve begun in me!
When satan finds out that you know this, believe this, and are standing on this biblical promises, he has no choice but to flee like a scared dirty dog that he is.
Now, once satan flees, you'll begin to see circumstances all around you that mirror what God is actually doing in your life. Once the snake is gone, you'll begin to smell the roses along the journey.
Your future is certain. The promises of God received by faith are certain. Keep walking, don't miss out on the wonderful party God has planned for you. It's just up ahead!
