John 8:47 NIV - Whoever belongs to God hears what God says. The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God.
Do you desire to hear from God?
We are assured in the scriptures that we will be able to hear and recognize His voice.
John chapter 10 lays this out.
- There is one flock
- There is one Shepherd
- We follow Him because we know His voice
So how does God speak to us.
The Holy Spirit speaks to us through our inner voice. God speaks to me mostly through His Word. His Word gives me wisdom, and the Holy Spirit (that inner voice) gives me understanding.
When I combine wisdom with understanding, the final result is knowledge.
Knowledge = Know-How
I promise you this. If you will meet with Him every morning, you will begin to hear His voice clearly.
