Co-Creating With God

Exodus 31:3-5 AMP - I have filled him with the Spirit of God in wisdom and skill, in understanding and intelligence, in knowledge, and in all kinds of craftsmanship, to make artistic designs for work in gold, in silver, and in bronze, and in the cutting of stones for settings, and in the carving of wood, to work in all kinds of craftsmanship.

All throughout history man has co-created with God.

The scriptures testify that God has a plan and purpose for each one of us. He actually gives us assignments for things He wants to accomplish on earth. There is no higher honor than partnering with God to accomplish His will. This is actually the highest form of worship. We've often reduced worship to 30 minutes of singing on Sunday morning. Don't get me wrong, corporate worship (singing) is a beautiful, but it's only one way that we worship God.

1 Corinthians 3:9 NIV - For we are co-workers in God’s service; you are God’s field, God’s building.

Think about this, when God called Noah to build the ark, a masterpiece in engineering, how did Noah know how to build the ark? A few years ago I traveled to Kentucky to visit the Ark Encounter, a life size replica of the actual ark. It is also a masterpiece in engineering, not only to build, but in everything involved in the "life" on the ark, like feeding all of the animals, disposing the animal waste, food and water storage, cooking and a zillion other ark inventions. I was amazed by the ingenuity. How did Noah know how to do everything?

Noah learned the exact way the skilled craftsmen who built the ark of the covenant learned. First, they were called by God, and then they were anointed with the Spirit of Wisdom. God had some very precise instructions and measurements for both arks.

Look at Exodus 31:3-5 AMP

- I have filled him with the Spirit of God

- In wisdom and skill

- In understanding and intelligence

- In knowledge

- In all kinds of craftsmanship

- To make artistic designs

- For work in gold, in silver, and in bronze

- In the cutting of stones for settings

- In the carving of wood, to work in all kinds of craftsmanship

God gave them supernatural wisdom and skill to accomplish their assignment. If you are a believer, you actually have this same spirit of wisdom inside you. (Ephesians 1:17-19)

You are already empowered by the Spirit of Wisdom (Holy Spirit) to accomplish EVERYTHING God assigns you to do. This is how I am anointed to help faith-driven entrepreneurs start and grow purpose-driven businesses. I am anointed to help Christ-followers discover their purpose. I am called and anointed for my assignments. And so are you.

In the natural, your credentials may not be too impressive, but when God adds His super to your natural, you will be able to co-create with the Creator of the universe. God makes the wheat, man makes the cakes. God makes the trees, man makes the chairs.

As you continue to connect and align yourself with God's plan and purpose for your life, realize you are called and anointed for the special assignments only you can do.

God chose you!

Don't worry about having the right strategies or skills to pull off the assignments from God. Remember, the Holy Spirit will teach you all things. (1 John 27)

God chooses very average and under-qualified people do His will. (1 Corinthians 1:26-29)

If you are called to start a purpose-driven business, you are already anointed to do it. You will learn everything you need to know. God will give you special creativity to innovate and disrupt the status quo. Every resource you'll ever need will be provided. It's all up ahead on the path to your destiny. But you must start the journey, now.

Start planning now, get prepared. There's already dates on the calendar for everything you'll ever need.

Just get out of the boat — and start walking.
