Anointed For Kingdom Business

Dec 02, 2021

If you are a Jesus-follower you are a marketplace disciple. You are called. You are anointed.

Whether you are part of the global workforce or a small business entrepreneur, what you may not know is that there is an anointing from God that accompanies your calling. In this video, I do a deep dive into 7 scriptures laying out the attributes of your anointing. Ask God to impart a revelation-knowledge of this anointing to you. It's yours, you might as well understand it. Revelation-knowledge is the key to your innovation.

The Bible defines the anointing as “God on flesh doing those things that flesh cannot do.” In other words, it’s God doing through people like us what we couldn’t do on our own.

Allow these 7 scriptures get inside you.

  1. As for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit—just as it has taught you, remain in him. 1 John 2:27 (NIV)

  2. But to those whom God has called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. Brothers and sisters, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth. But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. 1 Corinthians 1:24, 26-27 (NIV)

  3. What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us. This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual realities with Spirit-taught words. The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit. The person with the Spirit makes judgments about all things, but such a person is not subject to merely human judgments, for, “Who has known the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?” But we have the mind of Christ. 1 Corinthians 2:12-16 (NIV)

  4. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in God’s sight. As it is written: “He catches the wise in their craftiness”. 1 Corinthians 3:19 (NIV)

  5. But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. John 14:26 (NIV)

  6. You are my friends if you do what I command. I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you. You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you. John 15:14-16 (NIV)

  7. My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power so that your faith might not rest on human wisdom, but on God’s power. 1 Corinthians 2:4-5 (NIV)

Change your thinking. Change your doing. Change your results. (TDR)
